"Both of our children were happy and excited to go to SoMi every day. The activities are so well aligned with the themes and values, and the kids both learn a lot and go out into the community to expand on their experiences at the center. Essentially, they are constantly challenged in a compassionate way, and they show excellent growth and increased maturity when they attend SoMi, and yet, from their perspective, they are simply learning while having fun! We loved the theme of the holiday program! The final presentation was heartwarming, and it was clear how proud both kids were of their achievements at the end of the week. The projects that the kids brought home were really thoughtful, and again, the kids were so proud of their work. "My son Tomás is at Lycée Français Charles Lepierre, and every 7 weeks he has a 2 week break. It is very hard to find programs for these weeks, since the portuguese schools don't do these breaks! At SoMi, we found a program for these breaks, and not just any program - one that combines serveral important aspects, such as personal development, creativity, communication - all essencial to me as parent! And in english, which is clearly a plus!! Everyday we thrive to prepare our children for the future, and it is hard - SoMi's methodology is totally aligned with what I believe is important to prepare my son for the future, but most of all to be a happy and fullfilled kid." During the week, she worked on some key skills and values based on her needs, as well as giving us some nice parenting tips!
