"Both of my children attend SoMi, and both have shown increased self-regulation and maturity as a result. Lucrecia has thoughtfully designed this program to focus on universal values through hands-on learning and social interaction.

 We were experiencing some challenges with our three year old daughter. Her talking was delayed, she was socially too independent and she was having tantrums when she was asked for a change. There were also problems with the developmental foundations such as delay in potty training and attachment to her bottle. We were being guided towards expensive therapy centers by the nursery teachers and were becoming convinced that she might need therapy treatment. We then were introduced to SOMI and started working with Lucrecia. She spent significant time just watching our parenting habits, daily routine and our daughter’s behavior. She recognized the true potential in our daughter and highlighted what we can do better as parents to unleash her potential. She prepared a very structured roadmap along with developmental milestones. She showed us our development areas, orchestrated us as team and helped us define our roles as parents to set our daughter up for success. She walked us through each step and provided tremendous support. Our daughter has shown significant progress in speech, has already become much more social and has left all of her baby habits behind. Our “threenager” has almost no tantrums now. We are much more enabled and happier parents thanks to SOMI.

 Nothing beats being a mom. Nevertheless, it comes with great challenges and gets quite overwhelming at times. With so much information out there and so many different opinions , you don’t know what to listen to and how to get your head around things I was facing some sleep challenges with my 9 months old baby so I seeked Lucrecia’s help. Her approach was so reassuring and was built on her vast experience working with different families in addition to her personal experience with her own children which truly made a difference.  We hired SoMi to help with our 3-year old boy, as we were having a few challenges getting him to eat better and go to sleep at night. We needed a few tips on parenting to give him the best start in life. We have been really impressed with Lucrecia's help and advice. She came by to see what our routine was and made a plan that we could implement. Suggestions included getting rid of the bottle and not having the TV on all the time. It sounded like a challenge but we managed it. Day by day, I am seeing a more creative boy who just loves playing with his Thomas the Tank Engine and making up songs about his lovely school teacher rather than watching the same kid's movies over and over and getting very grumpy at me for turning it off. Since we put our SoMi plan into action, I have seen a real shift in our sons behaviour and as parents, we are less stressed and enjoying our family time very much. Now I am able to put him to bed at a better time - 7pm as opposed to 10pm, and I even have time for my own design and craft projects, which to be honest, I was struggling to find the time to do and it was making me very unhappy. I cannot recommend SoMi enough to other families out there!
